Racecourse Features and Location

Newcastle Racecourse is located just minutes from Newcastle City Centre and is easily accessible from the A1 and A19. 

Set in the beautiful High Gosforth Park Estate with 28 race meetings spanning both the Flat & National Hunt Seasons, Newcastle Racecourse is the one of the busiest turf tracks in the UK. As well as first class racing, High Gosforth Park Estate boasts two 18-hole golf courses, a nature reserve, public house and superb conference, banqueting, Christmas party, wedding and outdoor facilities.

Highlights of the 2007 racing calendar include the three day Northumberland Plate Festival, The Beeswing Ladies Day, The WBX.com Fighting Fifth Hurdle, totesport Eider, Guinness St Patrick's and Grand National Day Racemeeting.
