Racecourse Features and Location

Sedgefield Racecourse is very easy to get to. Although situated in County Durham’s attractive countryside surroundings, just outside the village of Sedgefield itself, it is only twenty minutes from Teesside and Darlington on the A689, forty minutes from Newcastle, and only three miles east off Junction 60 on the A1(M) and a similar distance from the A19.

Race Sponsorship

Race sponsorship is available at most of our 19 fixtures, with the minimum sponsorship cost being £1000 plus VAT. The cost of a sponsored race at Sedgefield includes; a named race, which can be a Company name, service or product, or a person’s name should it be for a special occasion.

The marketing benefits of a sponsored race at Sedgefield is on a national scale, through national and racing newspapers your Company name, service or product will be seen at entry and declaration dates as well as on the raceday itself. A press release is sent from the Racecourse to newspapers, local television and radio giving details of your Company and your sponsorship at Sedgefield. There are opportunities to advertise within the day’s racecard as well as display banners at prominent places which will be picked up by the cameras and transmitted to over around 9,000 betting shops and users of the gg.com website.
