Racecourse Features and Location

Southwell is best known for its all-weather track which has long sweeping bends. It is laid with fibresand which rides deep and as a result stamina is important. Southwell also boasts and excellent left-handed turf track which has been praised by many top trainers because of the well cambered bends and three furlong straight.

Southwell Racecourse is just off the A612, north east of Nottingham and west of Newark and the A1.

Race Sponsorship

Race Sponsorship is an excellent medium with which to promote your company, products or special occasion. Naming a race to your specification is available from just £300 per race, your title will be published in the racecard, local and national press and will be televised on the Satellite Racing Channel and to the ten thousand betting shops throughout the country. In addition, you will have the opportunity to present a best turned out award in the Parade Ring before your race, and to present the trophy in the winner’s enclosure directly after the race. We will display your promotional banners at prime sites around the racecourse. Advertising boards are also available along the finishing straight guaranteeing TV and Satellite exposure - please contact Nathan Corden for further details.
