In Great Britain, horses must be five years old or older to compete in the Grade 3 National Hunt steeplechase known as the Scottish Grand National.

The Scottish Grand National is due to take place on the 20th of April 2024.

There are 27 fences to jump during the race, which is raced in Ayr, Scotland, over a distance of around 4 miles (3 miles, 7 furlongs, and 176 yards, or 6,397 metres).
