Our team of professional horse racing tipsters has provided a list of the best 5 racehorses to concentrate on for the UK 2024 horse racing calendar and Irish horse racing fixtures in 2024 over jumps.
Before we choose the horses to add to your stable there are six bonus races for Grade 1 staying chasers and only two staying hurdle bonus races, so look to acquire plenty staying chasers.
Constitution Hill
Constitution Hill’s plan is to run in the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth, the Grade 1 Christmas Hurdle, and the Grade 2 International Hurdle before the transfer window.
Constitution Hill is a must-have selection for all stables as many predict he will be winning several grade one races.
After the transfer window, Nicky Henderson’s stable star will be a firm favourite to win the Champion Hurdle before potentially running in the Aintree Hurdle again, both of which are Grade 1 bonus races.
Galopin Des Champs
Galopin Des Champs is due to run in the John Durkan, the Savills Chase, the Irish Gold Cup, and the Cheltenham Gold Cup in March.
With all four races being Grade 1 events and three of them being bonus races as well, he has the potential to collect 175 points this season.
Galopin Des Champs is a must-have in your stable.
Impaire Et Passe
Impaire Et Passe has an opportunity to collect a lot of points, as Willie Mullins has confirmed he is due to run in the Grade 1 Hatton’s Grace before contesting the Irish Champion Hurdle.
Our sports betting tipsters feel Impaire Et Passe is a great choice but if you are worried Constitution Hill could stamp his authority you could sub him out in March.
Jonbon
A winner of 11 of his 13 races, Jonbon will be high on anyone’s list and it is easy to see why.
Runner-up in the Arkle last year before a 43-length win in the Maghull Novices at Aintree, Jonbon is trained by Nicky Henderson and is sure to be high on all ante-post lists for the Champion Chase.
With a smooth victory in the Sholer Chase already this year, he is a great addition to any squad.
Shishkin
A winner of 13 of his 19 races, even though now a 9-year-old Shiskin is no backward number.
Lightly raced last year, his form was top-class with wins in the Ascot Chase and Aintree Bowl as well as being a brilliant runner-up in the Rynair Chase.
Another from the yard of Nicky Henderson it will be fascinating to see where he goes this year. Wherever he turns up though he is to be feared.
Facile Vega
Son of the brilliant Quevega – six times winner of the Mares Hurdle – Facile Vega has always had a lofty reputation.
It is a reputation backed up with 8 out of 10 races won.
With big race wins already including The Champion Bumper, The Punchestown Champion Bumper, The Champion Novice Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival and the Paddy Power Futures Novices Hurdle at Leopardstown.
This year he has already started well with a smooth novice chase victory.
It is without question he will be targetted at the main novice chase races at Cheltenham and Aintree.
