Dublin Racing Festival Tips for Day 2

Here are all the horse racing tips for the second day of the Dublin Racing Festival 2023.

1:10 Tip LIBERTY DANCE

Here are our tips for the Leopardstown 1:10 pm race on the second day of the 2023 Dublin Racing Festival.

Gordon Elliotts charge LIBERTY DANCE is seeking a hatrick and the handicapper doesn’t seem to have caught up with the horse quite yet after winning with something in hand last time. The challenge could well come from the Stephen Carey trained horse Banntown Girl. That horse has put in some fine recent efforts and switches back to hurdling after a couple solid attempts over the larger obstacles.

  • 2pts win on LIBERTY DANCE
  • 1pt each way on BANNTOWN GIRL

1:40 Tip MIGHTY PORTER

Here are our tips for the Leopardstown 1:40 pm race on the second day of the 2023 Dublin Racing Festival.

MIGHTY PORTER seems to be going from strength to strength as is taken to come out on top once again for the Elliott yard. He won a grade 1 event last time out in fantastic fashion having pecked on landing on a couple of occasions. The Willie Mullins charge James Dun Berlais defied an almighty long absence in his beginners chase at Fairyhouse and could be anything but this represents a huge step up in class.

  • 2pts win on MIGHTY PORTER
  • 1pt each way on JAMES DU BERLAIS

2:10 Tip BLUE LORD

The 14:10 race is The Dublin Chase which has hot fancy Blue Lord running before going onto the Cheltenham Festival.

Here are our tips for the Leopardstown 2:10 pm race on the second day of the 2023 Dublin Racing Festival.

It looks almost impossible to oppose BLUE LORD who is well clear of the field on ratings. The Willie Mullins trained star looks set to hold off all challengers but may find his stable companion Gentlemen De Mee to toughest nut to crack.

  • 2pts win on BLUE LORD
  • 1pt each way on Gentleman De Mee

2:40 Tip CIEL DE NEIGE

Here are our tips for the Leopardstown 2:40 pm race on the second day of the 2023 Dublin Racing Festival.

A tough handicap chase and plenty horses in with chances. A chance is taken on CIEL DE NEIGE who could only manage a midfield position last time out after a break. He was hampered at a crucial stage and always seems to come on for a run so significant improvement could be expected. Panda Boy has contested some hot races of late and was a very close 3rd at Leopardstown when dropped back into handicap company. The Martin Brassil trained horse could be the chief danger.

  • 2pts win on CIEL DE NEIGE
  • 1pt each way on PANDA BOY

3:10 Tip STATE MAN

The 15:10 race is Chanelle Pharma Irish Champion Hurdle which is a trappy affair.

Here are our tips for the Leopardstown 3:10 pm race on the second day of the 2023 Dublin Racing Festival.

What a race on the cards here and exceptionally difficult to separate the three market leaders. STATE MAN came out on top once again over course and distance last time but stablemate Vauban was returning from an absence and was denied a clear run on more than one occasion up the straight. The Henry De Bromhead superstar Honeysuckle is a fans favourite and will surely bring the house down should that win. Oppose at your own peril.

  • 2pts win on STATE MAN
  • 1pt each way on Vauban

3:40 Tip FACILE VEGA

Here are our tips for the Leopardstown 3:40 pm race on the second day of the 2023 Dublin Racing Festival.

Its been easy by name and easy by nature so far for the Willie Mullins trained and undefeated FACILE VEGA and he looks to take all the beating her. The main danger could come by the way off once time time derby favourite High Definition who put his flat speed to great use to claim a 27 runner maiden in his only hurdle start to date.

  • 2pts win on FACILE VEGA
  • 1pt each way on HIGH DEFINITION

4:10 Tip GAELIC WARRIOR

Here are our tips for the Leopardstown 4:10 pm race on the second day of the 2023 Dublin Racing Festival.

Although massively odds on in his last two outings GAELIC WARRIOR couldn’t have been any more impressive winning his maiden hurdle by a whopping 86 lengths. He is held in very a high regard by the Mullins brigade and although his stablemate Icare Allen is slightly ahead on the ratings i don’t think we’ve seen the best of the selection quite yet.

  • 2pts win on GAELIC WARRIOR
  • 1pt each way on ICARE ALLEN

4:40 Tip LILY DU BERLAIS

Here are our tips for the Leopardstown 4:40 pm race on the second day of the 2023 Dublin Racing Festival.

LILTY DU BERLAIS looked like he was given too much to do on his return to action. He was held up at the back of the field at Navan last time out and managed to pass all but the winner on that occasion. He looks to gain compensation for that defeat here. Fun Fun Fun was given a confident ride by Patrick Mullins on his only start to date when racing very wide and keeping out of trouble eventually winning by a comfortable 10 lengths at Sligo. Although that race may not have been the strongest on paper the confidence behind the ride should not go unnoticed.

  • 2pts win on LILY DU BERLAIS
  • 1pt each way on FUN FUN FUN
