June Queen Anne Stakes Betting Tips 2:30
The Queen Anne stakes kick off the royal Ascot meeting and BAAEED cannot be opposed. He looks certain to add to his already impressive unbeaten record and can get the punters off to a flier.

It is a Group 1 flat horse race open to horses aged four years or older.
The Royal Ascot Queen Anne Stakes on day one of racing is run over a distance of 1 mile

Coventry Stakes 3:05
Aidan O’Brien has won this race a record nine times, and he has a solid hand this time with BLACKBEARD and AGE OF KINGS, who both looked good when scoring last time out. The latter was quite powerful at the finish at the Curragh two weeks ago, but Blackbeard appears to have a more natural pace, and he gets the vote after displaying a remarkable shift of foot in the Marble Hill Stakes there.
The Coventry Stakes takes place on Day 1 of the Royal Ascot Festival.
The race is a Group 2 flat horse race and is available to 2-year-old horses.
The Coventry Stakes runs a distance of 6 furlongs.
King’s Stand Stakes 3:40
WESLEY WARD crosses the pond with a strong contingency of horses as always but the horse we’re looking forward to seeing the most is Golden Pal. He failed to fire at York on his last visit to British turf but Wesley Ward is adamant this horse is well and ready. He’s described as the fastest horse he’s ever trained and is surely going to take some beating.
On the first day of the Royal Ascot Festival, the King’s Stand Stakes will take place.
This race is for horses aged 3 and over and is a Group 1 flat horse race.
King’s Stand Stakes has a total distance of 5 furlongs.
- King’s Stand Stakes Win Tip is Golden Pal
- King’s Stand Stakes Each Way Tip is Twilight Gleaming
The betting tips for the King’s Stand Stakes at the Royal Ascot Festival are updated on a regular basis based on betting markets and inside knowledge on how the horses are training ahead of the race.
St James’s Palace Stakes 4:20
COROEBUS is a worthy favourite here but we are amazed at how short he is in the market and a chance is taken on the in-form William Haggis entry MY PROSPERO who looks certain to carry on his upward curve and may have enough improvement in him to lower the flag of the guineas winner.
The James’s Palace Stakes is a Group 1 flat horse race that takes place on Day 1 of the Ascot Festival.
This race is only for horses aged three and is run a total distance of 7 furlongs and 213 yards.
Ascot Stakes 5:00
It’s the marathon 2mile 4furlong trip where the staying flat horses battle it out with some speedy hurdlers.
Willie Mullins was denied by a short head in this race last year and has once again requested the services of Ryan Moore to ride BRING ON THE NIGHT in what looks to be a very competitive contest.
The Ascot Stakes is a flat handicap horse event for four and over horses.
It takes place on the first day of the Royal Ascot meeting and is run over a distance of 2 miles 3 furlongs and 210 yards at Ascot.
Wolferton Stakes 5:35
ADDEYBB is 6lb clear on official ratings and heads the market but he’s a soft ground specialist and with the ground reportedly racing on the fast side we doubt he may even be a participant.
On that note, we’re happy to take him on with the Irish challenger CADILLAC who was very impressive at Leopardstown with first-time blinkers last time out.
It is set to take place on the first day of the Royal Ascot meeting and will be run over a distance of 1 mile 1 furlong and 212 yards.
Copper House Stakes 6:10
A very tricky handicap to end day 1 but Gosden’s horse STOWELL is the selection. He’s been performing very well in listed and group class races since his maiden win and this can be regarded as a drop in grade on his 1st handicap now.
The Copper House Stakes is a new race at Royal Ascot.
