Anniversary 4-Y-O Novices’ Hurdle

Horses under four years old can compete in the Grade 1 National Hunt hurdle race known as the Anniversary 4-Y-O Novices’ Hurdle in Great Britain.

The Anniversary 4-Y-O Novices’ Hurdle takes place on Thursday 13th April 2023.

There are nine hurdles to clear throughout the race, which is raced at Aintree over a distance of around 2 miles and 1 furlong (2 miles and 209 yards, or 3,410 metres).

The novice hurdlers’ event is planned to take place each year in the first week of April during the Grand National meeting.
